Society for Consciousness Studies

The Society for Consciousness Studies is a professional scholarly organization that honors work of quality from any authentic scholarly tradition. The purpose of the organization is to bring together scholars and academic researchers interested in sharing ideas and approaches to the study of consciousness, with a preference for new paradigmatic approaches.

The Society provides a safe and brave space for researchers to share cutting edge theories and findings.


Center for the Study of Non-Symbolic Consciousness

The center for the study of non-symbolic consciousness work in the area of Fundamental Wellbeing (i.e.: persistent awakening, nonduality, enlightenment, the peace that passeth understanding, and so on) is widely recognized. It’s been presented for over a decade at leading scientific conferences and prominent academic institutions, well known and highly regarded public events, featured in countless video segments, articles, and interviews, mentioned in leading books, and much more.


STAGES International

Terri O’Fallon, PhD is an Integral scholar whose research spans 40 years, including eleven research studies conducted in various colleges, public schools, and private research venues. Her most recent theory, and the culmination of a lifetime of work, is the STAGES model of human development. STAGES integrates several developmental models and is informed by Ken Wilber’s Integral Theory and Terri’s own research, to form a robust and predictive map that is being used by numerous scholars, practitioners, and leaders throughout the world.

STAGES is a recent theory and assessment methodology for human development created by Terri O’Fallon, based on her decades of experience in education and years of research on development. Four research studies have been completed.


The Huberman Lab

Andrew Huberman, Ph.D., is a neuroscientist and tenured professor in the department of neurobiology, and by courtesy, psychiatry and behavioral sciences at Stanford School of Medicine. He has made numerous significant contributions to the fields of brain development, brain function and neural plasticity, which is the ability of our nervous system to rewire and learn new behaviors, skills and cognitive functioning.

His lab’s most recent work focuses on the influence of vision and respiration on brain states such as fear and high attention focus and developing rapid and effective tools for mitigating stress and improving sleep and other physiological metrics.
